Thoroughbred Horse Racing in Barbados has taken place at the Garrison Savannah for over 150 years. The Barbados Turf Club organizes three seasons of racing per year. These meetings run from January to April; May to August and from October to December, normally every other Saturday. There are usually nine races per day.
